The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel. Metallurgical Fire

The atmosphere on this record is amazing dark and beautiful almost spiritual at some points and crushing at others every song gave me goosebumps at some point vaguy22

Crushing, devastating, dark, quite filthy and very very heavy. The guitar tone alone seems to weigh as much as Mount Everest and it flows like lava and rolls like a tank. Short: this is perfect. mourner
